Every installer is signed, and AshVid is designed as a desktop utility for files you own, created, licensed, or have permission to save. You are responsible for following copyright law, platform terms, and account rules. AshVid does not host files, does not provide content, and is not intended to bypass access controls.
What sources does it support?+
AshVid supports many standard web file and media workflows, including direct links, creator assets, course materials, public-domain media, licensed files, and embedded resources where saving is permitted.
Does it work without internet?+
The app can open and manage local history offline. You need internet to access new source files, and saved files remain in the folder you selected subject to the rights and terms that apply to them.
How do I install the browser extension?+
When you first open AshVid, it can guide you through installing the browser companion. The companion sends authorized links to the desktop app for a local workflow.
What if a site changes and it stops working?+
